Frame here!

When I was born as an idea, my creator knew one thing: the philosophy of "slow art" that I am to represent must have a physical, tangible body. And that body could not be just anything.

My creator could have cut corners. He could have ordered thousands of laminate frames from a Chinese factory. He could have used plastic, cheap pine, and metal tabs that cut fingers. That is what others do.

But he didn't want a "product." He wanted to create an object. Something that has weight, texture, and soul. Something you want to touch yourself. Something that will last for years.

This is the story of the search for perfection that gave me life.

The Search: Not a Carpenter, but an Artisan

My creator began the search. But it wasn't just "sending emails." It was a process of precise curation. It was hours spent analyzing hundreds of portfolios to reject 99% of mass producers. It was tracking the digital footprints of true craftsmanship.

They weren't looking for someone with the word "passion" in their website description. They were looking for evidence of that passion in past projects. Someone who can work with solid wood with precision, not just particle board. Someone whose eyes light up when they hear of a challenge, rather than rolling at the sight of a complex order.

And they found him. Not a huge production hall, but a small, local workshop where the smell of solid wood mixes with passion. A workshop where one man is responsible for every millimeter of cutting to create me.

Material: The Touch, Weight, and Scent of Solid Wood

I have compact dimensions, perfect for a desk or wall, but I have my weight. That is the first thing you will notice when you pick me up.

It was decided that I would be made of solid oak, not cheap glued wood or plywood. Why?

Because solid wood lives. Every copy of me that leaves the workshop will be unique. It will have its own, inimitable grain pattern.

Instead of chemical varnish that clogs pores, the craftsman finishes me with natural oil. This makes me warm and satin to the touch. I am an object you want to interact with daily.

Magic Hidden in Wood

But the real technical challenge lay elsewhere.

My creator hates standard frames. First, he hates prying open those stiff metal tabs. The ritual of changing art was meant to be a pleasure, not a frustration. The solution? Hidden neodymium magnets.

This was a true test for the master craftsman who created me. It was not about simply gluing a magnet into a visible hole. In both parts of the frame, the artisan drills sockets for the magnets, and once they are set, he seals them with wooden plugs. What matters is what you feel: the surface is perfectly sanded and smooth to the touch. It is a construction that is honest and solid.

Thanks to this, when my back meets the frame, you see only wood touching wood. There is no trace of metal. And yet, you feel that powerful, satisfying "click" when the hidden magnets take hold.

Second, my creator hates glass. Glass is a cold, glossy barrier. It is a wall that creates reflections and physically separates you from the artwork. That is why we consciously chose to do without it. I want you to be able to experience art, not just look at it. So that you can, if you wish, touch the texture of the fine art paper. This art is for you, for right now. It is not a museum exhibit.

An Object for Years, Not a Seasonal Gadget

The frame you receive isn't "me" as a product. It is "me" as a work of craftsmanship.

I am a stable, heavy, timeless foundation for the changing art I will host within me. I am the first permanent exhibit in your private gallery, built to delight your eyes and hands for generations.

When you order your starter kit, remember that you are not buying a "frame." You are reserving hours of precise work by a craftsman who poured his heart and skills into me.
